To the Editor:
This year’s Regan-Levison Memorial Golf Tournament benefited the Norwood-Norfolk-Raymondville Outreach Program. This event has been held since 2002 and was started as an outing and reunion for members of the families of Emmett and Bernice Regan and Felix and Mildred Levison, along with many friends.
This year 55 golfers set up to tee off at Meadowbrook Golf Course, Winthrop, for a very enjoyable day, thanks to Mickey Lock and his staff who always provide us with great hospitality and professionalism.
A reunion was held at Phillip and Linda Regan’s house with over 70 attending.
As in past years, this event was used to raise money to help out charitable organizations or individuals.
This year $950 was given to the Norwood-Norfolk-Raymondville Outreach Program. This brings the total donated over the years to $8,500.
The organizers would like to thank Mickey Locke of Meadow Brook Golf Club, Novelis Oswego Works, and the many individuals who donated items to be raffled off.
