To the Editor:
As a former member of the Potsdam high school track team, I wonder why the track at Potsdam high school has not been named after coach Bill Lewis.
This is long overdue.
Coach Lewis has had a huge influence on my life, as an athlete, coach, and now as a State of New Jersey Track Official. His life lessons were always positive and helped many of his athletes become better people.
It would be such an honor for all of us to see his name on the track.
What possible reasons could anyone have not to see this happen. He was by far the best track coach ever in Northern New York. He was also a class individual.
