To the Editor:
My fund-raising event Musicality 2015 was held on September 19, 2015. This was the fourth year this event was held to benefit the Parishville-Hopkinton Central School Music Program.
The weather was good, we had a successful day with many community members coming out to support our event.
We had door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, novelties, bake sale, cotton candy, Rosies Hawg Dogs, St. Lawrence Valley Roasters coffee, face painting, a coloring table, an expanded photo area with props, balloon creations by Cuddles the Clown, music lessons, instrument petting zoo and local musical entertainment.
Our entertainment was provided by: Michael Schaff, Nick Rycroft, Woody Jiang & Mark Lyon, Jack Kelley’s Little Big Band, Kathy MacKay, Bruce Dewey & Rob Zolner, PHCS Alumni -The D. Squad, and The Canton Goldenaires.
I would like to thank all the valuable volunteers and community members who came forward to make the show a success. Thank you!
Prior to this years event I started a “Go Fund Me Page” and held two bottle drives to supplement this years event. My thanks to those who went above and beyond to sponsor this event even if they were unable to attend.
I am proud to be able present the PHCS Music Department with a check at our annual Christmas concert.
