To the Editor:
It was with a lot of helping hands that the 43rd annual Norwood Autumn Festival was a great success.
Many thanks go to all the vendors, what a display of talent. Thanks also to the exhibitors and promoters of various groups. Thanks to the old car and truck owners who displayed their vehicles.
The dedication of the new park bench in honor of our late mayor, James H. McFadden, was very impressing and deserving.
It was good to see friends greeting old friends. That’s what the festival is all about.
Thanks to Don LaBarge and son; to Ray Gardner’s Time Line Band and to Denny Byrne for sharing their talent to keep us entertained all day.
Many hours planning and organizing go one before the day of the festival, but when you see the results, it is all worth while. This is what makes Norwood such a great place.
A special thanks to our family: Roy, Frank, Tanya and Brandi.
Louis Pierce and Pat Mayo
Co-chairmen of the festival
