To the Editor:

The “Ives Park Concert Series Mini Golf Tournament” was held at SwingTime Mini Golf on Sunday July 31. Eleven teams registered for this fundraising event, and prizes were awarded for five different categories.

The list of award winners and prizes are as follows:

1. Most Holes-in-1 went to Bad Knees Bears (Marianne Hebert and Liliana Trevizan) and each team member received Potsdam Food Coop coupons for six whole loaves of bread.

2. Par Excellence was won by Little Orphan Manny and Sonny Warbucks (Doyle and Finnegan Dean) who each received a gift card from the Potsdam Agway.

3. Most Interesting Uniform was won by Treble in Paradise (Kristan Daniels and Brandon Perrine) They each received a T-shirt from the Ives Park Concert Series.

4. Most Musical Name was awarded to the Big Bear-itones (Kerri and Todd Canedy). They received a lovely gift basket donated by the Raquette River Gift Co.

5. Best Overall Score was won by Perkins Putters (Colby and Bill Perkins). They received game passes from SwingTime.

We would like to thank all of the participants and local businesses for their generous contributions and support for the Ives Park Concert Series.
