To the Editor:
I am Janet Newtown and I would appreciate your vote on March 18 to serve as a Morristown Village Trustee.
As a retiree I have the time to devote to the responsibilities of the office.
In talking to the village electorate during my petition gathering I learned what is important to a broad cross section of village residents.
I was born, raised and educated in Morristown. I ran my own business for over 30 years.
I volunteer in many ways such as the Morristown Public Library, as well as community functions.
I have attended the village meetings for the past three years and feel I am informed about ongoing issues in the village.
I would bring financial skills, depth of maturity and sound judgement to the position.
I will also respect differing viewpoints and opinions.
Please get out to vote March 18 from noon until 9 p.m.
Janet Newtown
