The Morley Library Association extends its thanks to all who helped make the Morley Community Summer Festival and Morley Library Open House such a success.
The lucky winners of the latest raffle announced during the festival were Ted Wisner winning the SLU season hockey tickets and Susan Flanagan winning the $100 Price Chopper gift card.
Linda Smith won the $100 Lottery Tree, while William Longshore took home the 32” flat screen TV.
Other winners included Terry Latimer, the winner of the $50 Canton Currency and JS Cinemas tickets, Diana Wilcox the full body massage, with the two-burner gas grill going to Amber Ball.
The proceeds of the raffle and the Ice Cream Social will help fund the renovations now being made to the Morley Library.
Thanks to generous donations from area supporters of the Morley Library Association, and the on-going support of area residents, many improvements have been made to the Morley Library over the past year.
The Morley Library Open House held during the afternoon and evening of the festival was well attended by area residents who were able to see first hand the improvements made to the library.
An invitation is extended to anyone didn’t get a chance to stop in during the open house to visit the Library during open hours, Monday and Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 and Thursday afternoons from noon to 5.
The Morley Library Association is taking a hiatus from meetings and fund raising for the summer months, but many activities will still be taking place during July and August at the Morley Library.
Watch for announcements of those happenings.
