To The Editor:
On behalf of the Women Of Grace Widows’ Fund, we would like to thank everyone who assisted, donated and attended the recent Mom Prom fundraiser in Canton. The evening was a rousing success raising $2,639 for the Women Of Grace Widows’ Fund, a joint mission project of the Canton and Watertown Presbyterian Churches, dedicated to alleviating poverty and providing opportunities for widows in Malawi, Africa.
Special thanks to the Best Western University Inn, Glow Skincare and Spa, Red Button Bakery, Emma Brackett, Thursday Morning Playgroup, Mary Phalon, Sue Dean, Gregg Halstead, Nancey Brackett, Alice Poole, Ellen and Rich Grayson, Nancy Lyon, Krista Weber, Paula Youmell, Jody Tosti, Wanda Renick, Sarah Franklin, Ellen Janack and Karen O’Brien for their generous support of our mission efforts. Mom Prom will return in 2013. Again, thanks to all for their enthusiastic and abundant support.
