To the Editor:

We read with interest the Model T Ford Club magazine about all the big tours, shows and rallies that occur each year. We find it quite interesting what each club chapter does.

Let us give our county a view into a different sort of group. We live in Northern New York in St. Lawrence County, the largest County in the state.

There are eight cars among the 14 of us, who can’t wait for good weather to T – Tour, traveling the back roads. One member of the group organizes and ”leads” the way, traveling between 100 and 150 miles before stopping for lunch at a local eatery.

A familiar sight throughout the county, we are greeted with friendly waves and eagerly awaited by children and adults alike. At the end of the day and the end of the season, we sadly tuck our T’s away to wait impatiently for the next season.

So think of us once in a while as you go about your day-- we are T owners and loyal to the bone!
