To the Editor:
We would like to thank the Canton Library for all the work that was done to compose the McCarthy Restaurant recipe book. We know a lot of work went into getting it published.
Sara Richardson and her crew worked diligently for months getting all the items together. Thank you to everyone who played a part in this endeavor.
We would also like to thank those who have contacted us or have donated memories to the publication. It has been fun walking down memory lane and being touched again by our friends, family and customers. The notes and cards that have been sent to us have been wonderful.
If you have not obtained a cookbook, they are still on sale at Canton Free Library, Coakley’s Ace Hardware and TAUNY.
I know that the library committee has gone to a second printing so pick up your cookbook. For those who knew Canton and were familiar with McCarthy’s Restaurant, it makes a great gift or souvenir and it also supports our local library.
