To the Editor:

I’ve followed the local political arena most of my adult life, but was never revved up as I am with the Mike Derrick campaign.

It is very important to see which congressional candidate has been making the rounds in the North Country.

I’ve had the opportunity to visit with Derrick, numerous times and unlike his opponent, he always takes the time to all about North Country needs and how he plans to improve our area.

He is also we versed on the national level and his 28 years in the Army will be an asset in Congress when it comes to military assessments.

Unlike his opponent, who we rarely see and hasn’t taken the time to talk to people of the 21st Congressional District, Derrick is determined to bring jobs to our local area and improve our infrastructure.

I urge you to talk to Mike Derrick. He’s got great ideas and wants to put them into action and he’s all over the place.

I would suggest that you all do the same for his opponent, but, we’d probably have to make a trip to Washington or Wall Street.

Mike Derrick, I know you can do it.
