To the Editor:
The Massena Disabled American Veterans chapter 171 would like to thank all of the organizations and individuals that donated to our garage fund.
The list of donors is too lengthy to print, and some were anonymous, but whether you gave $1 or $2,000, each donation was greatly appreciated.
We would also like to thank the Massena Police Department and the Massena Fire Department for the many years of safeguarding the keys to our vans and the parking spaces made available. You were gracious hosts.
We especially want to thank the VFW Post 1143 for allowing us to build on their property.
The garage is complete and both vans are now inside.
Contractor Ed Franks and his crew and electrician Ken Kells did excellent work.
We are disabled veterans proudly serving North Country veterans and we thank you all.
