To the Editor:

On behalf of the Potsdam Lions Club, I am writing to express my thanks and appreciation to all merchants and individuals for their support of Lions Radio Weeks.

This year we were raising money for the improvement of Lions Park on Fall Island. It is our plan to make the park family friendly and handicapped accessible.

Our annual financial goal was met again this year. Potsdam Lions financial commitment and ongoing maintenance to the park in conjunction with the master plan for the development of the Racquette River corridor will provide the community with a beautiful recreational setting.

Also, a big shout-out to the staff and management of our local radio station B99.3. They developed all the production and provided all the airtime for our advertisers with 100 percent of revenues retained by the Lions.

Again, thank you to all the advertisers. Money raised through their generous support allows service organizations such as the Lions to make Potsdam the great community that it is.
