To the Editor:
The Friends of the Canton Free Library want to thank all of the community members who supported the “Second Annual American Girl Doll Tea Party” that took place this month. Girls of all ages enjoyed a day of pampering and crafts with their dolls at this unique community event.
With the help of many dedicated community members, the event raised $1,600 for the children’s library.
Thank you to all who generously supported the event by purchasing tickets, taking a chance on the raffle or volunteering their time and energy to make this event a huge success!
We would like to extend a special thank you to Ellen Wisner, and many generous local businesses for their very special contributions.
Also, to our team of crafters, who spent tireless hours at the sewing machine, knitting, or woodworking, we appreciate you: Mary Ellen Carvel, Mary Beth Sieminski, Susan Lorenc, Sue Frank, Sue Tracy, Conrad Stuntz, Daryl Zook, and Joan McKnight.
