To the Editor:

With resounding enthusiasm we support Carol Pynchon for a second term on the Village Board. Carol has been a hard-working, visionary, creative member of the board.

She's bright, reasonable, and fair. She doesn't just second the last opinion spoken and she's not afraid to disagree with friends or opponents. She does her homework. And anyone who knows her knows she has boundless energy. She gets things done!

In her first term, Carol worked to put in place a Canton Community Action Plan to provide a roadmap for Canton's future. She also helped launch Canton's Sustainability Committee, a committed group making a difference in areas related to energy, transportation, food, and agriculture.

She has addressed the need for transparency about the board by writing a regular board report for this paper. Carol sees what needs to be done to make Canton a better place to live for all of us and then works diligently to see that things happen.

Let's re-elect her on Nov. 3 so that she can continue working for the people of Canton.
