To the Editor:

I am confused about Common Core testing. I have been around, many countries, and states, in military, had many jobs and challenges.

I am 75 and have taken many tests, some pertaining some not. Taking tests can open interests in various fields and bring up many areas that a person may want to pursue, and can also show weaknesses and strengths.

I have taken many aptitude tests and common knowledge tests voluntarily. I would gladly welcome the opportunity to take all of the Common Core tests. Yes I am sure I will not do as well as a 5th grader but will they cut my ears off, if I don't do well?

Will it open up new interests for an old man, I am sure it will. I think it will prepare for college, military and employment tests. I look at tests as a challenge and we all face them daily. Who doesn't do puzzles, games, play sports, every challenge is a win or lose but a learning experience.

Where are we going if our leaders of tomorrow can refuse and not follow orders will it effect them tomorrow by refusing the opportunity?

Every day we all face a decision, every decision has consequence, good or bad results and can effect us today or in the future, some can ruin our lives and some can make a great future.

Think about this test how will it impact the future of our leaders of tomorrow?
