To the Editor:
Voters of St Lawrence County, we need a County Legislator that will work with the St Lawrence County Legislative Board to restore fiscal health to our county that now is considered one of the three most fiscally stressed in the state.
Donald Hooper is the Legislative Candidate for District 1 in the city of Ogdensburg who has the financial experience to work with and financially advise the Legislative Board.
His knowledge can help to bring this county back to fiscal balance without continuing to raise taxes and borrow money to meet the counties financial obligations.
We know Don,Ron having been his partner for twenty plus years in the Accounting Firm of Hooper and VanHouse CPA’s. Ron worked with Don auditing many of this county’s municipalities and school districts. Don knows and understands their workings and fiscal challenges.
His service on the Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority Board and many other community organizations show that Don is committed to sharing his financial expertise for the betterment of all the citizens of St Lawrence County.
Recently retired from the accounting firm of Pinto Mucenski Hooper Van House & Co. CPA’s P.C., Don is now ready and willing to share his financial knowledge to the task of restoring St. Lawrence County to financial stability.
We believe that this financial balance can be achieved by voting for Donald Hooper for St Lawrence County Legislator for District 1 on November 4.
