To the Editor:
Many thanks to Potsdam High School lacrosse players, Messieurs Adams, Bartenstein and Mousaw, for digging my car out of the driveway of my workplace Thursday night.
I was performing my usually successful Subaru-shoot-through-the-deep-snow-and-into-the-street maneuver when, suddenly, a truck pulled onto Main Street.
To avoid hitting the truck I hit the brakes and the car sank into the 4 ft. snow pile filling the driveway. Enter three young men with a snow shovel. They freed my car and that of a worker from a nearby building. Thanks to them for seeing my dilemma and responding to it. I am most grateful.
