To the Editor:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the voters in the Town of Hammond who exercised their right to vote in this year’s election.

And I want to extend a special heartfelt thank you to all of you who voted for me. Citizens of this town made honesty and integrity an important part of this election and I thank you for your vote of confidence.

I will continue to work hard to make proud the more than 60% of voters who chose me and to work even harder to help all residents become confident that my administration will lead our town in the direction the people have clearly charged me with.

I plan to keep the government process transparent. I hope to continue the town newsletter and will strive to keep our website updated.

I welcome your input on issues important to the town, as this is what makes this process work.

I wish to thank my family for their encouragement and I am also thankful for the many supporters and volunteers who worked on my reelection campaign.

Also, my gratitude goes out to the Republican local chairperson, Erica Demick, and County Republican chairperson, Nancy Martin, for their assistance and collaboration.

Please continue to attend town meetings and contact me with your concerns. Thank you again for your support.
