To the Editor:

With November 6th rapidly approaching I felt it necessary to express my personal thanks to Senator Patty Ritchie and ask the voting public to vote to return her to the NYS Senate.

I have been involved with sportsman’s issues either personally or professionally all my life. In my retirement I have doubled down on my involvement in sportsman’s organizations, including but not limited to the St. Lawrence County Fisheries Advisory Board, the Black Lake Fish and Game Club, the River Valley Gun Dog Club, the St. Lawrence Valley Sportsman’s Club and the St. Lawrence County Federation of Sportsman.

Because of my concern for sportsmen issues I have had the occasion to contact Senator Patty Ritchie with situations of concern to me and the sporting community in St. Lawrence Co. Senator Patty Richie has been the most responsive elected official that I have ever dealt with. When there was a concern regarding the protection of the spawning walleyes in Rossie Senator Ritchie immediately took the problem directly to the DEC Commissioner obtaining a commitment to provide protection during the vulnerable spawning run. Senator Ritchie not only responded to calls to her office but has solicited input from the sporting community with her annual “Sportsman’s Survey” through Face Book and the mail. Interest like this on behalf of an elected official is refreshing, and should be appreciated by the voting public. I am asking the sportsmen/women and the public in general to vote to return Senator Ritchie to office so she can continue providing her valuable service to
