To the Editor:
My name is Tom Chapman and I live in Hammond. I am a retired teacher. You who know me, know that when I have something to say, I am going to speak out.
We need someone who will truly represent the 116th Assembly District. We need someone who will vote to do away with common core in our schools. We need someone who will take the constitution seriously. John Byrne is that man.
Byrne is a member of the NRA and has an A rating. You know he will support your right to keep and bear arms.
You people who are gun owners should seriously consider who you are voting for. Byrne has pledged to try to overturn what I call, the NYS unsafegun act that his opponent voted for. If you lose your 2nd amendment rights, which one will be next?
Byrne will read a bill before he votes on it and not in the middle of the night.
I have had the privilege of working with John so I know what he is capable of accomplishing.
I support John Byrne and you should too. He needs your vote so please get out and vote on Nov. 4.
