The family of Peter A. Gilson would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the many people who offered comfort, support and messages of sympathy during our time of bereavement.

We wish to thank the staff at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Dr. Cruikshank and Dr. Singh from the Claxton-Hepburn Medical, St. Lawrence Valley Hospice and Palliative Care of NNY and Nancy Fletcher for their personal attention, professional care and kindness.

To all those who sent memorial donations, food, flowers, cards and online condolences; we thank you.

We would also like to thank the O’Leary Funeral Service for the consolation, guidance as well as the comfortable surroundings, St. Mary’s Church in Canton and Father Doug Lucia for his kind words of comfort and compassion, Elks Lodge #2074 as well as the Canton VFW Post 1231 and the VFW Men’s Auxiliary.

Finally, to Meghan Mousaw and others for preparation and cleanup after the luncheon following Peter’s service.
