What a great event!
St. Joseph’s Foundation’s annual Golf Ball Drop on Aug. 22 was such a great time for everyone and I’d like to thank our prize money sponsors, St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union, Carlisle Law Firm and St. Joseph’s Employee Recreation Committee.
Again this year, Chuck Kelly did his usual stellar job selling tickets.
Thank you for your commitment to St. Joseph’s. And a huge thank you to Frank Richardson for donating his helicopter and time. Frank took 24 people for rides that day.
If you live anywhere near Fr. Martin Field, I’m sure you heard the helicopter going over constantly from 11 a.m. until after 4:30 p.m.
Everyone who took the ride got a fantastic aerial view of our area from near Lisbon Beach to the Stone Quarry in Ogdensburg and returned saying it was an awesome experience.
Thanks too to all of you who bought tickets. We couldn’t have successful events like this without your support.
