Many Thanks from L. Wayne Strader Memorial Scholarship Fund.
The family and friends of Wayne Strader wish to extend our thanks and gratitude to all those who helped to make our 4th annual fundraiser a great success.
With the generosity of the local businesses and people, the motorcycle riders, and several large donations, this year we were able to give $700 scholarships to four deserving students.
They are Kathryn Miller of Colton-Pierrepont Central, Tyler Hardy of Norwood-Norfolk Central, Eric Hannon of Parishville-Hopkinton Central, and Travis Stephenson of Potsdam Central School.
We also want to specifically thank the Hannawa Falls Volunteer Fire Department, CSEA - Local 742 (Clarkson), Clarkson University, and St. Lawrence University for being there for us from the beginning. We would also like to thank all our volunteers who put their time and energy into our event.
Many, many thanks to you all from the L. Wayne Strader Memorial Scholarship Board.
