To the Editor:
On Oct. 25, the C.O.R.C. Store hosted our first “Mystery Dinner Theater Fundraiser” which raised $1,320.40 for our voucher program.
We also had door prizes for those who guess "who done it." Congratulations to Cathy Rodger who won the wine basket, and Nathan Sprague who won the maple products.
A special thank you to Barbara Marten for the picnic basket, Jane Wells for the wine, glasses, and other goodies, and to the Thomas family at Windy Hill Maple for maple products.
Thank you to all who attended and Art Johnson and the Grasse River players who presented the play.
As 2017 starts, we are all making some kind of resolution. Why not make a resolution of volunteering at the C.O.R.C. Store? Stop in and see our store manager Andrea about volunteering.
All the best for 2017.
