To the Editor:
St. Andrew’s Church in Norwood held their first annual Summer Wrap-Up Party for the children on Sept. 5. We had carnival games, relay races, cotton candy, hot dogs, popcorn, chips, lemonade and ice cream sundaes!
Many thanks go out to all who helped to make this a fun-filled afternoon for young and old. A special thank you goes to the following: Wal-Mart, Perry’s Big M, Save-a-Lot and Price Chopper for gift cards that paid for all of the food.
Also thank you to Willow Tree Florist for helium balloons and to Trout Brook Veterinary Clinic for their bags, which were perfect for our prizes!
A final thank you to the parishioners (young and old), and to the different church organizations for helping with set up, serving, prizes, etc.
We are looking forward to next year’s event!
