To the Editor:
The Board of Governors and members of the New York State Volunteer Firemen’s Parade & Drill Team Captains Association would like to express thanks to the Norfolk and Louisville Fire Departments for hosting two firematic drills this year.
These events help firefighters in obtaining skills used on actual fire scenes.
We were fortunate to have one of the largest events in Norfolk this year and an area record broken at the Louisville event.
We also wish to thank the dedicated drill and parade officials from the county that spend their summers doing these drills and parades.
