The Consumer Affairs Committee recently approved the GMO Labeling Bill A-617 for a full vote in the NY State Assembly. After that, the Bill will go to the NY State Senate.
If you feel it is your right to know which foods are genetically engineered (also "GE" or "GMO"), this is your chance to make your views known to our representative in the NY State Assembly, Addie J. Russell (Assembly District 116, which includes Potsdam, Canton, Massena and Ogdensburg).
