To the Editor:
Why would you not vote in the upcoming mid-term election November 4?
Perhaps you don’t like the candidates, are tired of the political ads (both positive and negative), think it is not that important, you don’t have time, or worse yet think your vote won’t matter.
The truth is your vote does matter. It is your right as a citizen to vote and if you stay home on Election Day you are allowing a system of unequal representation.
Please show up at your polling place and cast your vote for Elise Stefanik.
Having paid close attention to her campaign and energetic commitment to work diligently for us here in the North Country in so many areas of concern, I am convinced she is the best candidate to represent our large district in Congress and remedy the many dysfunctions currently rampant in Washington D.C.
Franklin D. Roosevelt once stated, “Nobody will ever deprive the American people of the right to vote except the American people themselves and the only way they could do this is by not voting.”
Get out and vote for Elise Stefanik to work for and protect our great North Country and make your voice heard.
