To the Editor:
I would like to see a campaign to talk her (St. Lawrence County District Attorney Mary Rain) into stepping down immediately and get her out of that office.
Plans should be started, if not already done, to find a replacement for her and whatever it takes to find competent, professional ADA's with backgrounds for the job.
She cannot perform any useful function at this point and I'm still mad at the way she sent a non-attorney to handle a felony prosecution and then he was struck down for following her orders. He's gone, why isn't she? If I had my way she would also be disbarred.
I am sick and tired of her antics and non-performance and have been for two years now. Hillary, one of her planks for running cannot possibly get a fair trial anywhere thanks to her, and...well, readers all know I'm sure of the tens of unethical and even illegal crimes she has committed and tried to lie about.
I cannot recall a single instance of her taking responsibility for anything she has done in that office. She's all about the blame game and has never done anything wrong according to her. She seems to have no concept of the law, has mistreated so many in so many ways it's pathetic.
We need her nullified now! Let's get the DA's office back on the map with some good leadership and a staff of functional, passed the bar ADA's, hopefully with experience.
Kill any pension she has for non-performance since it hasn't been earned, if any, and end her era of lost confidence in the entire legal system of this county.
