Election news coverage raises some questions, says Massena resident

To the Editor:

I have been watching C-Span this year. Doing so has allowed me to hear speeches from start to finish, instead of being told what was said. This has raised some questions.

Why do the news services mislead the American people about what Donald Trump has said. I am not just referring to twisting, manipulating or spinning parts of conversations to fit their agenda. They have done that for years to people they oppose. I am talking about the willful perversion of information.

To sneakily misquote anyone is shameful. To intentionally misinform the public is somewhere between disgraceful and malicious. What do the ownerships of news services, not outlets, expect to gain from this political interference?

Also, in a time when disapproval ratings are high, why is there no coverage of a third choice for president who has qualified to be on the ballots in all 50 states? To be fair, don't forget to check out Gary Johnson and his running mate William Weld.

As for Hillary Clinton. I have seen enough of her since she was almost kicked out of the governor’s mansion in Arkansas for her behavior when Bill was governor
