To the Editor:
Trinity Church, Potsdam, is so blessed to be able to provide a free will Thanksgiving meal for the surrounding community!
I thank the parishioners who donated, money, food and "boots on the ground" to make this dinner happen! Truly, this event is a team effort! We have a wonderful congregation who is willing to work so joyfully.
I thank Patrick Gray, head of PACES, and Chef John for donating the turkey, gravy, and cooking/mashing our potatoes for the meal.
It is a wonderful outreach between the village and Potsdam State. I thank Potsdam High School for donating the dried hydrangea and Bob and Betty Fraser of Canton who donated the bittersweet for the table decor.
I thank Bob and Sharon Pickard who rose early to prep the vegetables. And, of course, I thank the diners who came and enjoyed the good food and fine fellowship at Trinity. It is always a pleasure to serve you and visit with you.
Finally, I thank my family who supports me in this ministry. Indeed, it is a God-led labor of love!
