To the Editor:
I want to take this opportunity to publicly thank the Health Initiative for their gift of rental skates and helmets to the Canton Pavilion.
We are now better able to serve our community by offering those without skates the opportunity to enjoy themselves ice skating. To date we have had almost 200 rentals and counting.
As mentioned in our publications, “The gift of rental skates and helmets was received from the Health Initiatives creating healthy places St. Lawrence County Project, a grant funded by the state department of health.”
Thank you Health Initiative for securing this grant and providing us with this wonderful gift.
