To the Editor:
Steve Warr assures us that if we vote to dissolve the Village of Potsdam all will be well.
The town board, in its wisdom, will assure to villagers all the services they now have, including a Police District.
Very nice, except that Mr. Warr doesn’t speak for the town.
Marie Regan, town supervisor, does. And she said, “The town will commit to nothing prior to the Nov. 8 vote.”
No commitments whatsoever! So to whom are we to listen?
Under the circumstances, dissolving the village would be like buying the proverbial pig in a poke.
