To the Editor:
To the person who stole my black ladies wallet from a local grocery store on Monday Dec. 21, shame on you.
Did your parents fail you somehow in that you felt the need to steal my wallet? I inadvertently left it on the express lane but you did not have the decency to turn it into the manager that day.
How unfortunate for me that the cashier did not see it before you took it. Aside from being just days from Christmas, I had many personal and sentimental things in that wallet that are irreplaceable.
I would have given you the cash had you asked. Enjoy the $25 gift card that was there also because karma is a powerful thing. What you sow you will reap eventually.
I will never know who you are, however, I hope the day comes that you regret such a dishonest and unkind act to another person.
