To the Editor:

I was surprised and shocked when I heard on the radio a few weeks ago that one of Gov. Cuomo’s three top priorities was the legalization of gay marriage.

I wrote the following letter to him at that time. I sent copies to a state senator and an assemblyperson.

Dear Gov. Cuomo:

I am so very disappointed that gay rights is one of your top three priorities.

You along with some other states have or are trying to legalize what Sodom was destroyed for.

This shows that we are near the end of this present age because the Messiah said in Luke 17:29, 30 “but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.”

The following are some texts from both the Old and New Testament pertinent to this subject:

Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in His image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.”

Genesis 2:24 “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.:

Leviticus 18:22 “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is an abomination.”

Leviticus 20:13 “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”

Matthew 19:4-6 “And He (the Messiah) answered and said unto them, have ye not read, that He which made them at the beginning made them male and female, and said for this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let no man put asunder.”

Romans 1:24 “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves.”

Romans 1:26, 27 “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”

1 Corinthians 6:9, 10 “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Be not deceived: Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners shall inherit the kingdom of God.

The above texts are from the King James Version. Newer versions are more explicit.

As far as I know, you are not an atheist, so I hope you seriously consider your future actions.

It says in the Pledge of Allegiance, “One nation under God” and on all our money is printed, “In God We Trust.” How can anyone who believes in God condone such abominations especially lawmakers and clergy?

This is not my opinion.

It is the opinion of the Creator of the Universe.
