The Friends of the Norwood Public Library recently held a “Tea Traditions Class” for the community in honor of January – hot tea month. It was a fun afternoon, with presenters from many different countries, sharing their traditions, and treating us to regional snacks.
This could not have happened without the generosity of the presenters and local businesses. We would like to thank Kaori MacWilliams, Te-Ree, Julia Faistova, Abdur Roy, Quainqain, Paula Youmell, and Cynthia Davis, for sharing their knowledge and expertise.
Thanks also to The Marigold Bakery and Kitchen for their donation of gift certificates, the Carriage House Bakery for the tasty scones, and The Ashley House for lending us their lovely teapots and teacups.
The Friends meet on the third Tuesday of each month at the library, and welcome new members, new ideas for programs, and ideas for fundraisers. Thank you.
Maureen Triolo
