Customer service helps nutrition class enjoy food in Canton

To the Editor:

I would like to extend a sincere thank you for excellent customer service that I received on Monday, June 30 from the Canton Price Chopper store.

I had promised a nutrition education class that I would make a quinoa dish for tasting during a class scheduled for Monday morning but when I arrived at work, realized that I had left the dish at home by accident.

I decided to go to Price Chopper to see if there were any pre-made quinoa salads available. When I learned that there were not, I went on a search for quinoa throughout the store so that I could show my class what the uncooked product looked like.

One of the friendly associates not only assisted me with helping to locate the quinoa but, when I explained my dilemma, connected me with the deli manager who not only made a delicious and healthy quinoa salad but also delivered the salad to my class which was taking place down the street.

This is perhaps the best customer service that I have ever received and thanks to these helpful associates who went above and beyond, my entire class was able to enjoy a healthy, new food.
