To the Editor:
It is my opinion that you concentrate on the sad issues and events that take place in the town of Potsdam. Growing up in the town of Potsdam as a child, it used to be a happy setting, and you concentrate on sad events. This what you call sensationalism.
I am talking about the useless murder of the 12-year-old boy on Market Street at North Country Manor Apartments. Another sad event is the rape of a young woman. I fell that you are concentrating on sad events rather than happy events that Potsdam has to offer.
Events like the farmers market, the thrift stores, sidewalk sales and music events are some of the wonderful things that Potsdam has to offer.
The Crane School of Music and the sports events at Clarkson University and that we have a wonderful computer class in the basement of the Potsdam Public Library and numerous restaurants and the Adirondack Mountains, the St. Lawrence River and the usefulness of the Potsdam Museum.
