Colton Winterfest made possible by volunteers

The weekend of Jan. 28, the Colton community held their annual Winterfest celebration. There were many activities that were attended throughout the weekend.

A pancake breakfast, spaghetti dinner, health fair, craft fair, 10 mile race, quilt displays, and so much more took place.

It was a huge amount of organization and work for those involved.

Mary Long and her volunteers did a tremendous job of creating a memorable weekend for everyone that was able to take part in the events.

Several high school students were involved in making the weekend a success as well.

From setting up tables and chairs to serving pancake dinners and spaghetti dinners, the students did a great job making the task easier for those involved with the events of the weekend.

Thank you to the following student volunteers: Hunter Farr, Tara Hennessy, Craig Miller, Tiffany Generous, Abby Johnson, Brooke Collins, Andy Cochran, Brianna Beaulieu, Isaiah Johnson, Dan Knight, Tim Rapczynski, Jordan Porter, and Jonathan Porter.

Also, thanks to last year graduates Robert Beaulieu and Taylor Bonno.

It is always nice to see the school and community come together, as Colton often does.
