To the Editor:
Many thanks to everyone who donated to the Potsdam First Presbyterian Church’s collection of blankets and sweaters for the babies of the Mzuzu Africa Crisis Nursery.
We received so many beautiful hand knit items that we will be sending at least three large boxes.
The first box arrived safely and at the same time as the cold weather in Mzuzu,Malawi, Africa.
We thank Mayfield Apartments and Midtown Apartments for being drop off spots for donated yarn and items.
We are especially grateful for the generous support of Misty Hollow in helping us make community connections that allowed so many generous and sometimes anonymous knitters to take part.
