Christmas donations needed for North Country kids

To the Editor:

With the holiday season just around the corner, the Rose Hill Foundation would like to request your assistance in enabling the youth in treatment to have a wonderful holiday season.

Rose Hill provides substance abuse treatment to over 150 youth each year and this holiday season there will be between 25 and 30 youth in the program over the holidays.

The staff works extremely hard each day to provide a healthy, structured, safe program to meet the youths’ needs. As the holidays approach, additional funding is always needed to provide Christmas for the youth in the program.

As we are all aware with state and federal funding cuts and changes to healthcare reimbursement that donations at this time become more and more needed by the programs that provide services to our most vulnerable population, our youth.

The Rose Hill Foundation was established in 1988 with a mission to provide support to chemically dependent adolescents in treatment at Rose Hill. We are extremely grateful to those individuals, businesses, and organizations that have helped us carry out our mission. Your generosity in the past has always allowed us to continue to do the best for the clients in treatment.

If your generosity can be expressed please contact Lynne Dufore at 764-9700 ext. 221 and arrangements can be made to pick up your donations.

Rose Hill Foundation is a 501 (C) (3) tax exempt organization. The Rose Hill foundation wishes you all a wonderful holiday season.
