Canton-Potsdam Hospital trivia night nets $2,400 for guild
To the Editor:
The Canton-Potsdam Hospital Guild’s Trivia Night held on December 3rd at the Barking Dog Saloon was a huge success due to the help of many.I would like to thank Barking Dog owners/operators Lisa and Seth Clothier for setting up their extra room and donating the space.
They were especially helpful when a larger number of teams showed up and they accommodated us with extra tables, chairs and wait staff. The wait staff was excellent all evening so a thank you to them as well.
A special thank you to Dan Murphy who ran the night asking the trivia questions and keeping it entertaining. Thank you to Matt and Randa Mitchell, owners of the Raquette River Pub in Colton, for loaning Dan their sound system for the evening.
I would like to thank the 26 teams that came to participate in the trivia night fundraiser and support our 50/50 raffle. A good time was had by all.
The evening event raised just over $2400.
All monies raised throughout the year by the guild are donated to the Canton-Potsdam Hospital at our annual June meeting.
Again, thank you to community members and businesses that made this such a success.
