To the Editor:
Did you know that the Canton Village police actively take care of our community? We learned first hand what a great department they are a few weeks ago when we got a phone call from them at 1:30 a.m.
Apparently, an employee of ours forgotten to lock the front door of our cafe at closing, and the village police had discovered it on their routine check of all local businesses.
They were calling to inform us. But then they went a step further.
A few minutes later they called back to say that there was a rowdy group of teenagers across the street in the park, and that they would stay at the cafe and wait until we got there.
Thank you Village Police, for looking out for us! We appreciate your service.
