To the Editor:
Parishville - Thanks for your Support!
I am very grateful for the overwhelming support I received from my fellow residents of Parishville and for honoring me with your vote last week.
I am deeply moved by the expression of confidence from my community, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am immensely grateful to the family, friends, and loyal supporters who so generously contributed their time and effort.
Even though my campaign fell short, I consider this campaign a success. I met many wonderful people and made a lot of new friends. This was the largest voter turn out in Parishville ever. The results are a clear indication that our town supervisor and board need to re-think where and how our tax dollars are being spent.
True change does not come from the election, but from the streets. Get informed and involved, become and organizer and a leader in our community and school.
I am not going anywhere; this is my home. You have taken the time to share with me your ideas, your concerns, and your aspirations, and I sincerely appreciate your willingness to discuss what really matters to you.
I will continue to fight for change in our community and keeping taxpayers informed of the facts.
I hope you all stay in touch and stay involved to make change happen in our community.
Cassie M. Hayes
