To the Editor:
Canton-Potsdam Hospital now has a breastfeeding space for women.
That's great! But let's remember that it's perfectly legal in NY for women to breastfeed their baby anywhere the woman and baby are allowed to be.
It is an affirmative defense against charges of indecent exposure.
And if anybody tries to stop you, point out that the baby would probably be crying if it weren't nursing, and isn't a quiet baby a good baby?
