To the Editor:
In response to “Border Patrol Road Blocks Infringe Our Rights,” I have been stopped by Border Patrol at road blocks too, sometimes more than once when they're in front of my job.
It's a real pain to be asked about where I'm going over and over again, and I don't know why they do it. I want it to stop, and I can’t be the only one.
I travel for work and always get stopped near Ogdensburg and Gouverneur. I asked why they keep stopping people on State Highway 37, and the officer said something about terrorists, but all they ask about is where I work and where I'm going.
Something is not right about that. Waiting in a line of traffic so they can treat me like a criminal isn't right. Not in this country.
