To the Editor:
We at Common Cents Thrift Shop in Norwood would like to thank the wonderful students and staff at Seaway Tech Vocational School in Norwood for their generous donation of clothing this winter.
Seaway Tech's drive collected fourteen large totes full of warm winter coats for people of all ages. So many of our shoppers were excited to be able to buy a nice coat for a nominal price.
It is a sad and unfair fact that when teens exhibit negative behavior it is immediately brought to the attention of the public.
The workers and patrons of Common Cents would like to applaud the hard work and kindness of the young people at Seaway Tech, and the staff who helped them make the clothing drive such a great success. God bless you all!
Kathryn Boswell, of St. Philip's Church, Norwood and Sharon Yousey of Common Cents
