To the Editor:
I'm a senior at Potsdam High School, three days before Christmas break I was in first period class when one of my friends texted me from the guidance office. She told me that the guidance secretary wanted to see me before I left for BOCES.
So I went down and met Mrs. Adams in the hallway. She proceeded telling me that someone called the school and wanted a list of kids that stand out most. Mrs. Adams gave them a list and described me.
The person anonymously wrote a $500 check to go toward my senior trip to Orlando, Florida in April.
I just want to say thank you to whoever you are, wherever you may be, you made me realize the small things in life, this big of a gift makes you realize all the small things that matter!
