To the Editor:
On behalf of the Women of Grace Widows’ Fund and the Canton First Presbyterian Church, we would like to thank the people who made our recent Cabin Fever Coffee & Dessert Night a great success.
Thanks to our bakers who made delectable desserts for sharing and for the raffle and to the individuals who donated items for the gift baskets: Beth Carrier of Red Button Bakery, Anastasia Hull of Anastasia’s Bakery, Nancey Brackett of My Corner Studio, Canton Mayor Mary Ann Ashley, Ellen Rocco, Natasha Halonen, Sarah McDonough, The Coming of Age Group at the UU Church, Vern Impey, Lara Syvertsen, Christine Hitchman, Steve Maiocco, Peter Beckstead, Linda Fay, Ann Marie Halstead, Coreen Bohl, Ann Spencer, Jane Fernandes, Beth Hayes, Rainbow Crabtree, Wanda Renick, Pat Mace, Marcy Bennett, Edith and Lindsey Frazer, Brooke James Rouse and our friends at Partridge Knoll.
Special thanks to all the people who came to socialize, enjoy the music of Matt Bullwinkel and purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win.
By the end of the night, $1,184 was raised to support our continued mission work of assisting widows and orphans in Malawi, Africa.
We are truly grateful for the generosity of the Canton community.
